U.S. North Model 1816 flintlock pistol, .54 cal., 9” barrel, wood grip, P and US marked on left side of barrel at breech. This gun is in overall good condition showing a brown patina on metal surfaces, good markings on lockplate, good action, dark bore, overall good wood grip with a large “E” carved into the left side of the stock toward the front barrel band and some small cracks on the left at the point of the top screw of the reverse lockplate; also some old scattered mars around the lockplate on the right side of the stock; replaced wood ramrod. This model of the North pistol was produced between 1817 and 1820 with approx. 19,000 manufactured. Est.: $800-$1,600.
