U.S. Model 1850 staff and field officer’s sword marked F. Horster, Solingen on blade. The sword remains in good to very good condition showing a nicely etched blade with some light cleaning and some pitting towardsthe foreword 3” of the tip. The scabbard is good with a tight seam and minor normal aging. All original and mounts are retained with a period sword knot. Est.: $500-$1,000.
