U.S. Model 1842 Box Lock Percussion Navy pistol by N.P. Ames dated 1843 with all features as standard on this model showing standard flat lock plate with no point. Refer Flayderman 6A-046. The pistol shows apatina finish with light to moderate scattered erosion and pitting. The markings on lock and barrel are good and the stock is good with a few dings, mars and small losses. Good action and generally good overall.Est.;$600-$1,200.
