U.S. Model 1841 Naval Cutlass with 21” blade marked “N.P. Ames, Cabotville” and “US/1846” with “RC” on one side of the quillon and “JL” on the other; brass guard with “XIII” stamped on inside at scaled brass grip with eagle stamped on bothsides of the integral pommel (no scabbard); in overall very good condition with some scattered spots of erosion on blade.
