U.S. Model 1836 Flintlock pistol in 54 cal marked “R. Johnson, 1841”. The pistol remains in original good to very good condition with some light to moderate scattered pitting and erosion, some slightlyheavier pitting on the band and front end. The markings are good. The stock is very good with sharp cartouches’. There are small losses of wood around the lock. The original small parts are all retained andthere is light surface rust that would clean. From an old N.Y. collector’s estate. Est.;$750-$1,500.
