U.S. Model 1819 flintlock martial pistol by S. North of Middleton, Connecticut in .54 caliber with 10” barrel and approximately 15 ½” overall. Refer Flayderman 6A-024. The pistol shows a good reconversion from percussion back to flintlock.The metal surfaces show some light cleaning and some light to moderate pitting mostly on the lock. The stock has been cleaned and sanded with small repairs and a outline of an original cartouche by the left side plate. There are also a couple ofreplaced screws and the ramrod and swivel are original. The barrel shows good inspections markings. The collection of William A. Gary consigned by his estate.
