Manufactured from 1863 to 1875. The revolver has the standard three line New Model barrel marking on the top barrel flat. Single letter inspection marks (W, D, R) are stamped on most of the components. The matching serial number is marked on the frame under the grip and on the bottom barrel flat. Fitted with smooth walnut grips with a cartouche on the lower left and an "A" on the bottoms.

Condition: Fine. The revolver retains 40% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina showing some minor pitting on the cylinder. The grips have been re-oiled and remain fine showing raised feathered grain, some minor high edge wear and a few minor handling marks. The cartouche is very fine. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
