U.S. M1 carbine, receiver marked Irwin-Pedersen, .30 cal., 18” barrel marked Underwood with flaming bomb proof and dated 11-42, flat bolt, flip-up two stage rear sight, military finish, wood stock, olivegreen woven sling, metal oiler, no magazine, #1780683; accompanied by a U.S. marked fleece-lined soft case. This gun is in overall very good condition showing the majority of military finish on metalsurfaces, good + bore, crisp action, sharp markings, very good wood stock with “IP” in square and crossed cannons on right side of butt stock; “RSG” stamped in sling channel flat. Irwin-Pedersen’s are one of the rarestvariations to find in any condition and are highly sought after by collectors. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
