Manufactured circa late 1850s to early 1860s. The left side of the frame has the one line address and the right side has the one line 1856 patent date marking. Single letter inspector marks are stamped on most of the components. Matching numbers on frame, cylinder and hammer well with the number "14252" on the hammer. Fitted with a smooth grip stamped with a boxed script letter cartouche on both sides and the inspector mark "C" on the underside.

Condition: Fine. The revolver retains 50% plus bright original high polished blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grip is very fine with a shallow gouge on the bottom and some minor handling marks. The cartouches are crisp. Mechanically excellent.
