U.S. Historical Society Authorized Buffalo Bill Centennial Presentation copy of a Colt Model 1860 Army percussion revolver, .44 cal., 8” barrel, blue finish with gold ornamentation, faux ivory grips, #1355 in like new condition showing littlehandling, accompanied by a deluxe green French lined wood case with accessories including a stand-of-flags gold plated powder flask, a combination nipple wrench/screwdriver, a polished brass bullet mold, a percussion cap tine withengraved buffalo on the lid and two covered compartments, one containing lead balls. The lid of the casing has a leather inset with the likeness of Cody himself in the center flanked by a stagecoach and the likeness of the great Indianwarrior, Sitting Bull. Also accompanying lot is a certificate of authenticity numbered to this gun along with other paperwork from the U.S. Historical Society. (Exempt-modern percussion). Est.: $800-$1,600.
