U.S. Colt Model 1911A1 Pistol with Service Model Ace Conversion Assembly and Magazine
Produced in 1943. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address/patent marking with the Rampant Colt in the center on the left side of the slide and "P" on top. The frame is marked with the "G.H.D" inspection stamp, "1/ VP" on the trigger guard, and "No" style serial number. Fitted with a checkered wide hammer spur, stamped trigger, checkered slide stop and thumb safety, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing and late war style Colt wood grips. Colt barrel, marked "COLT .45 AUTO" on the left side of the chamber and "P" on the lug. With a brown leather "SEARS/ 1943" U.S. shoulder holster with straps, a pair of clear acrylic grips with finger grooves, and a magazine and slide assembly for a Colt Service Model Ace pistol.

Condition: Excellent, with 95% of the original parkerized finish, showing bright wear along the edges, a light scratch on the left side of the frame, a ding on the bottom of the grip safety and mild handling marks overall. Grips are excellent, with a ding on the right panel and some lighter scratches and pressure dents. Sheath shows light cracking and scuffs, minor scratches on the grip, and 98% original parkerized finish on the Service Model Ace slide, showing mild handling marks and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
