U.S. Civil War era Mansfield & Lamb sword with metal scabbard, approx. 40” overall with a 34-1/2” curved blade dated 1865 in overall good condition showing a grey patina to blade, redish patina to brass guard, wire wrapped grip with lots of wear to the leather grip; scabbard is good and retains both hanger rings, dark patina, some dings, mars and scratches from carry and storage; a well-known maker for the Union Army.
