Manufactured from 1913-1915. Standard markings with fixed blade front sight and V notch rear sight. Hard rubber birds head grips with lanyard loop. With a blue-gray canvas flap holster.

Condition: Very good, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, edge wear, and scattered spotting and handling marks. Grips are good, with some mild cracks and chips. Holster shows minor wear and staining. Mechanically excellent.

B) Produced in 1918. Blade and notch sights, with Australian Government "Broad arrow in D" property marks on the barrel and frame, in addition to the standard markings and proofs. The back strap is marked "D(arrow)D" and "2/1208". Checkered square butt grips, with a lanyard ring on the base. With a blue/gray canvas holster, marked faintly inside the flap.
