Introduced in 1939, the Iron Cross Spange (bar) was introduced for soldiers who had won both the 1914 pattern Iron Cross and the 1939 pattern. Those men would mount the Spange on the button ribbon. Both spanges in this lot feature a Nazi eagle over a "1939" bar, are pre-mounted on black and white ribbons, and come in a black lacquered modern presentation case. Also included is a gold embossed red leather case for a 2nd Class Order of the German Eagle.
