Made from 1861 to 1863. Pin front and hammer notch rear sights, with "D. MOORE PATENT SEPT. 18. 1860" on the top barrel flat and scroll engraving on the silver plated frame, trigger guard, recoil shield, butt and back strap. Smooth, square butt grips.

Condition: Good, with the steel components having turned brown with scattered pitting and handling marks. The brass shows 20% of the original silver, concentrated in the low areas and showing a fine antique patina. Grips are good, lightly cleaned with rounded edges and dents. Mechanically very good.
