A) Manufactured in the 1870s with total production estimated at only 1,000. Blade and notch sights, with the two line address/patent markings on the left barrel flat. Matching serial number on the cylinder pin, barrel and cylinder, (writer could not remove grips to check frame and grips), and fitted with smooth walnut grips.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 98% plus original nickel finish with some normal usage wear on the cylinder as well as a small area of flaking. The grips are very fine with some high point wear and a few minor dents. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
- B) Light floral scroll and simple line and dot engraving. Blade and notch sights, with the two line address/patent markings on the left barrel flat. Replacement cylinder pin and fitted with smooth walnut grips.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 95% plus original nickel finish. There are some dings and scratches on the underside of the barrel from forcing the cylinder pin in and out. The pin has caused the cylinder to turn with some difficulty and the cylinder has to be rotated by hand in order to cock the hammer. The grips are very good plus with some wear on the high edges. The markings and engraving are clear. Mechanically needs work.
