1) Royal Engineers sword, 32 1/4 inch straight blade with etched scrollwork and unit symbols on each side, a gold proof stamp on the right ricasso, "M9350" on the spine, and the Rob Mole & Sons Birmingham makers mark on the left. Iron guard with pierced-through designs and King George V cipher, with a checkered grip and rayskin wrap. With a German silver throated leather wrapped scabbard. 2) Wilkinson Engineer's sword, 35 inch blade, "50301" on the spine with makers marks on the right ricasso and proof seal on the left. 2-branch guard with border engraving. Condition: 1) Very good, with light spotting on the blade, heavier on the hilt, and scuffing of the rayskin and leather. 2) Very good, with light spotting, handling marks and flaking. Sheath is good, with a flaking green paint finish, scuffs and cracks.
