A) Dated 1875 on the right side of the receiver, various British proofs on most parts and "NN/FSP" stamped on the left side of the barrel next to the rear sight. Serial number stamped on breech side top of barrel. Standard blade front and ladder rear sights and steel cleaning rod. Mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with cartouches and unit markings on the right side. Complete with a leather sling and socket bayonet. The bayonet has British proofs on two sides of the blade.

Condition: Good as arsenal refurbished. The metal surfaces have a smooth dark brown patina with some very minor pitting on the barrel. The receiver is a smooth dark brown patina. The wood is good with moderate dents and scratches. There is a small dent on the left rear of the forearm at the pin hole. The markings are faint but still clear. The action is fine. The sling is good with age cracking and edge wear, there are crude markings on the inner side. The bayonet is good with some discoloration on the blade.

Standard blade front and ladder rear sights and steel cleaning rod. Mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with cartouches and unit markings on the right side. Complete with a leather sling and Pattern 1887 bayonet. The bayonet has British proofs on both sides of blade.

Condition: Good as arsenal refurbished. The barrel has traces of blue remaining, the rest is a mix of brown patina with some minor pitting. The muzzle end of the barrel has some minor wear from the bayonet. The receiver retains traces of bluing. The stock is good with minor dents and scratches with a pieced on repair on the left rear forearm around the pin. The action is fine. The sling is in very good condition with some minor age cracking. The bayonet is good with some wear on the leather handle and some discoloration on the blade.
