Manufactured in 1930. The right side of the slide is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" and the left side of the slide is marked with Colt's two line Hartford address/1897 and 1903 patent dates, with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations. The upper left front of the trigger guard is marked with the letter "1" over the Colt triangle "VP" proof and "51" on the opposite. Standard fixed sights, all blue finish, blue barrel with bright chamber, blue magazine marked "CAL. 32/COLT" on the floor plate and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Complete with the original matching number maroon hinged lid box with papers.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 98% plus original blue finish with some slight edge wear on the muzzle end of the slide. The grips are also excellent with minimal wear on the sharp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good.

B) Manufactured in 1908. Fixed sights, with the two line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide with the circled Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and standard caliber markings below the ejection port. The trigger guard is marked with the triangle "VP" proof and "R" on the left side. Low profile fixed sights, two tone Colt marked magazine and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in a ribbon at the top and the circled Rampant Colt on the bottom.

Condition: Very Fine. The pistol retains 70% original blue finish with a mottled gray patina on the grip straps and overall edge wear thinning and scattered minor flaking, with a few minor dings. The grips are fine with crisp checkering. The markings are highlighted in white and remain clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent.
