A) The top of the barrel is stamped "DICTATOR" and the right side of the frame is stamped "UNCLE HARRIS". The 5-shot cylinder is engraved with portraits in an oval (Indian, patriotic motif, eagle, bear, dog). Matching numbers on butt, wedge and loading lever components, with "5054" on rear cylinder face. Fitted with smooth walnut grips.

Condition: Good. The revolver has a mottled brown-gray patina with a couple hairline cracks around the recoil shield cut-out. Firing pin is missing. Most of the cylinder engraving remains. There are a couple small chips missing from the left grip panel, otherwise the grips are fine with a few minor pressure dents and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.

B) Manufactured circa 1858 into the early 1860s, this revolver is a First Type with "MARSTON / PHENIX ARMORY / NEW YORK CITY" barrel address and a 5-shot round cylinder. Matching numbers on frame and loading lever. Fitted with smooth walnut grips.

Condition: Good. The revolver has a smooth gray patina with minor pitting overall. The grips are good with a series of minor pressure dents on the bottoms and some minor handling marks. Mechanically functions, but main spring is weak.
