A) Manufactured circa 1880s. One line address on the left barrel flat and 1879 patent date on the left side below the casehardened cylinder arm assembly numbered "8173" which is numbered to the gun. Fitted with checkered "CS" monogram grips.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 95% original nickel finish with some mild flaking and a strong cylinder drag line. The grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks (mostly near the bottoms). Overall the checkering is crisp. Mechanically fine.

B) The left side of the barrel is marked "PAT'D JUNE 27 '71-OCT. 28 '73" and the top strap is marked "FOREHAND & WADSWORTH / DOUBLE ACTION No.41 / WORCESTER, MASS." Fitted with bird head grips numbered to the gun.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 90% frosted original nickel finish with speckling of brown and strong cylinder drag lines. The grips are excellent with a few minor handling and some minor high edge wear, with a gouge on the right panel. Mechanically fine.
