A) Produced from 1866 to the late 1880s. Top barrel flat has the one line address and top of the breechblock has the 1864 patent date, with the serial number on the left side of the frame under the grip. Fitted with checkered grips.

Finish: blue/casehardened
Grips: hard rubber

Condition: Very fine. The barrel retains 80% original blue finish with the speckling of brown overall. The frame retains 60% original case colors. The grips are excellent with some mild handling marks. The checkering is crisp.

B) Standard two line address/patent dates barrel marking, with the factory installed cylinder with removable cover at the rear. Serial number on the barrel underside and frame ahead of the trigger. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips.

Condition: Fine. The barrel retains 90% original blue finish and cylinder retains 15% original blue finish with the overall balance a smooth gray patina. There is some minor pitting on the cylinder. The frame retains traces of original blue in the protected areas with the balance a smooth brown-gray patina. The grips are excellent with a few very minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp.
