Turkish copy of a Smith & Wesson large frame top break single action revolver, engraved, .44RF cal., 7-3/4” barrel, nickel finish, bone grips, lanyard ring, #NVSN. This interesting gun is in overall uncleaned goodcondition showing traces of nickel in protected areas with balance gone to a dark brown patina over scattered areas of erosion and pitting; nicely accomplished period engraving, back of cylinder is Belgianproofed, bore may clean to good, action works but does not stay on full cock; bone grips overall good; consigned from the descendents of a New Zealand Officer who served by family tradition at Gallipoli during WW I.
