Tryon-marked percussion pistol with London marked and proofed barrel, circa approx. 1860’s. Pistol is 8-1/4” overall, approx. .45 caliber smooth bore with 4” medium weight octagon barrel. The metal surfaces show agrey patina and some light cleaning. The stocks show some well done repairs and light refinishing, though the hardware is undoubtedly British, the stocking and styling are American. The breech and tang are silver plated and show double-silver bands. A well-known Philadelphia maker. Est: $700 - $1,400
