Trapdoor Springfield composite made up from parts, .45-70 cal., 25” round barrel, re-blued receiver and “trapdoor”, stock modified to carbine style, re-blued butt plate, #60109. This gun is in poor conditionfrom a collector’s standpoint with a dark bore, action needs adjustment and cleaning from poor storage; stock has been modified at the fore end; with some cleaning and oiling and work, could make a presentable decorator.
