Tim Holt Colt SAA revolver with double holster and cartridge belt rig and color original 1949 Movie poster “Masked Raiders”; no documentation other than well-known to have come from a stunt man in Hollywood 30+ years ago before movie guns becamevaluable; may be researchable from RKO or other studio photo files or from current nationally-known collectors. Colt SAA is in .45 cal., 4-3/4” barrel with nickel finish and thick stag grips, #227098. The condition is overallvery good showing the majority of the old re-finish, crisp action, fair bore and very good grips with an added lanyard ring. The holster rig is in very good condition and is stamped “TIM HOLT” in block letters on the cartridge belt; theaccompanying movie poster is also in overall very good condition and is approx. 36” X 14”. A great Colt SAA, rig and Movie Poster from an early Hollywood Western cowboy actor that can be enhanced with some further research. (C&R).Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
