Case enlisted on May 7, 1861 at Glens Falls, NY as a Private and mustered out at Albany, NY on June 19, 1863.His Regiment saw service at Second Bull Run, VA., South Mountain, MD., Antietam, MD. and Fredericksburg, VA. Case ultimately retired to Santa Ana, CA. and died on 5 Nov. 1911. Pictures in the binder include him in hisCivil War uniform, him in his later years with family, other family members, his home in Santa Ana ca. 1896 and ca. 1901. Also pictures of his grave site at Evergreen Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA. Est.:$100-$150.
