Any item left past the pickup deadline is subject to disposal/removal and deemed abandoned. Peak Auctions holds the right to resell any abandoned items not picked up by buyers.
Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, Debit, E-transfer, or Cash upon pickup. All payments are in Canadian Dollars. All Items MUST be paid for within 24 hours upon receipt/invoice email of winning an item. Successful bidders have entered a contractual obligation to pickup their item(s) within the specified pickup times.
Winning bidders are not entitled to possession of items until the invoice owing has been paid for in FULL. A 15% buyers premium is applied to the total winning bid amount, in addition to applicable sales taxes (5% GST and 7% PST). Winning bidders have until the absolute latest of the Wednesday following the Sunday Auction to pickup their item(s). Any items not picked up by Wednesday following the Sunday auction will be deemed abandoned/forfeited. Consistent non-pickups will result in a ban from our auctions moving forward.
***In accordance with our terms/conditions***: The bidder's credit card which was registered and approved for bidding for the auction will be automatically charged at 4PM on Monday for the invoice owing. The winning bidder has until 4pm Wednesday to pickup their items. WE DO NOT STORE ITEMS PAST WEDNESDAY. If bidders fail to pickup, the items are then deemed abandoned/forfeited and become the property of Peak Auctions for removal/disposal. Cards are charged for any invoice owing at 4PM Monday, it is up to YOU the buyer to read these terms & understand this; WE DO NOT STORE ANY ITEMS LEFT NOT PICKED UP!! This is a contractual agreement which YOU the bidder signed up to prior to bidding. We do not issue refunds for items left abandoned/forfeited by buyers. Whether you pickup your items or not, your card will be charged Monday at 4pm. This is to not waste our time or yours in the auction. Buyers are responsible for the removal of their won items. We ask all individuals to bring their own bags and/or boxes. Large/heavy items require the buyer to arrange their own help to remove said items. *** STAFF DOES NOT DO CAR CARRYOUTS - We are unable to aid in offloading of items **If you know you've won a large number of items or heavy goods, PLEASE bring your own help/have your own help available!***
***Peak Auctions reserves the right to remove or deny any bidder that fails to follow these terms/conditions (e.g. name and CC used upon signup mismatch, asking for refunds/exceptions to be made despite our final sale policy, consistently picking up late/past the pickup deadline, failing to respect staff upon pickup, becoming argumentative over bidding terms, parking, etc.) Please be sure to READ our terms and conditions to avoid any disruption in your bidding. Failing to follow any of these terms will result in removal or denial from the auction.
