This black and white silk tie with geometric patterns by “Zilli” was worn by the character Tony Soprano played by actor James Gandolfini in H.B.O.'s award winning series "The Sopranos". This tie was worn in the episode, “In Camelot” (Season 5, Episode 7) when Tony Soprano attends a funeral. Attached is the original costumers tag from production with “TONY 507 CH 2” and “THE SOPRANOS” stamped in black ink on the verso.Mr. Gandolfini can be seen wearing this tie when Tony attends the funeral of Aunt Concetta, who died of a heart attack. After the ceremony, Tony visits the graves of his parents and finds an elderly woman there named Fran Felstein. Tony then goes to the funeral reception to speak with Uncle Junior who reveals that he himself was in love with Fran, and even planned to propose but missed his opportunity. Tony discovers Fran was his father’s mistress. This tie is part of Mr. Gandolfini's personal collection of Tony Soprano wardrobe that he acquired after the Sopranos series ended. The garment is in excellent screen worn condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity issued by James Gandolfini.
