This item is an early Cast Iron Fire Hydrant, manufactured by Rensselaer Manufacturing Company of Troy, New York, and stamped with the model name "The Corey" on the top of the hydrant. The fire hydrant is stamped below the manufacture name with the patent dates; "PAT. MAR 12. - PAT. DEC 3. - 1892". The double nozzle fire hydrant showcases fair condition. For the age, the chipping paint and rust is to be expected. The hydrant measures 51" tall, 14 1/2" wide, and 11" deep.
