Another great American Icon, John Wayne, mounted his own "battle" when he produced, directed and stared in his epic version of "The Alamo" in 1960. It was a flawless production including a massive cast, armies, and a crew that would do anything for this legend. And it all showed on the screen. This is a hero screen worn Artillery Officer Uniform of Santa Anna's Army. It includes a Shako (a tall cylindrical military cap) with black ribbed material, brass cannon insignia, red/green/white small pompom; a blue drill tunic coat with a red stand up collar and red cuffs, red epaulets and gold buttons; dark blue pants with red side stripe; a metal sword with gold-brass handle and black scabbard with black leather shoulder sling strap.
