Lot of two historic ledger documents:
a) Territorial ledger from the famous J. B. Laurin store (Laurin, Montana Territory). 1882-1883. Filled with prominent Virginia City pioneers, including William and Dixon Ranch (Captain Williams of Vigilante leadership). In the back half of the book, the ledger goes to Virginia City around 1909 and was used by Contents Corner by the Vicker-Gohn family. Hundreds of pages filled Frontier necessities: whiskey, cigars, knives and so forth.

b) Livery Stable Record 1911-1912, Rigby, Idaho. Entries of charges for boarding horses, storage of wagons, buggies, etc. Lots of names and quite a few "strangers" 14" x 8 1/2", hard covers.

Provenance: From the Estate of Thomas W. Lorimer.
