For your consideration is a cold cast bronze sculpture "In The Money" by artist Terrance Patterson, 1991. In 1979, Patterson retired from his full time job and pursued his real love of drawing and sculpting. His love of the West served as a motivator in his art, and his portrayal of people and animals of the West show a deep sensitivity to these unique personalities. His sculptures may be seen in the Toronto National Museum, Toronto, Canada; Scotland Yard, London, England; The Pentagon Building, Washington, D.C.; Department of the Air force; Department of the Navy; Department of the Army; and Office of the Chaplains. The sculptures created by Terrance Patterson are in private collections in every state in the Union and most of the countries of the Free World. Terrance had one man shows in Colorado, Wyoming, Missouri, and Texas. This piece shows two cast pieces in this work of art set on wooden bases. One cast piece shows a cowboy riding side saddle appearing to dismount while roping a calf running away. The calf is the second piece to this work of art, and it is completed as one with the cowboys rope lassooing the running calf. The large cowboy piece is marked "In the Money / Terrance Patterson 1991" and the calf piece is marked "T. Patterson". The bronze shows a nice patina and this piece is in overall good condition with no sign of damage. These pieces measure 12"Hx14.5"Lx7.5"W and &" diameter x 6.5"H. Together they measure approximately 25" in length.
