For bidding in this lot is a signed, second phase style Navajo Native American Indian concho belt. The belt is signed, and crafted by renowned Navajo silversmith Thomas Singer. Thomas is one of the Navajos leading authorities on conchos, and his exceptional craftsmanship shines through this piece. The belt boasts ten of the heavy sterling silver conchos, each showing a different traditional Navajo Western pattern. The conchos are securely fastened to a supple black leather belt. Overall, the concho belt shows very good condition. The belt measures 43" long. Each concho measures 2 7/8" x 1 7/8".
