T. J. Stafford .22 cal. single shot derringer, showing standard factory engraving, blued barrel, gold gilded frame, varnished wood grips, serial #1743. This early derringer shows traces of original blue drifting to brown on barrel with good markings. The frame shows 75-85% rich original gold gilt (not polished brass with lacquer finish, real gilt). The varnished wood grips are very good with some light wear at the edges and a nice grain. The release latch, hammer and small parts show considerable original finish. Made from about 1861-1869 with approximately 2,200 produced. Est.: $750-$1,500

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
