Swedish military cavalry pistol, lock showing 1852 date, “H” arsenal marking, #360 on rear of lock and tang. Cut for shoulder stock, nearly 80 caliber smoothbore. 18” overall, 11 5-1/6” barrel. The metal surfaces show somelight cleaning to arsenal bright. The backstrap shows quenched blue, the stocks are near fine with sharp markings “6R” over “2S 82”. The stocks have been lightly refinished and there is a small replacement of wood atthe forward edge of the lock that is almost undetectable, otherwise the stocks are sharp, checkering crisp, action tight. A rarely encountered cavalry pistol of a huge size. Est: $1,200 - $2,400
