Built by Lefaucheux in Paris, this revolver is a converted pinfire to 11mm centerfire and was used by the Swedish military from 1879 to 1890. The top of the barrel is marked "E. LEFAUCHEUX BRTE S.G.D.G. A PARIS", the lower left side of the barrel lug is marked "INV IN E. LEFAUCHEUX / BREVETE SGDG PARIS". The right side of the rear barrel flat is marked with three "crown" proofs and the right side of the barrel lug is marked "LF 80504". Pinched front and hammer notch rear sights. Six round unfluted cylinder, ejector rod on the right side of the barrel lug, blue barrel and cylinder with casehardened remaining parts, and fitted with smooth varnished walnut grips. The upper right grip flat is stamped with the letter "S".

Condition: Very fine. The barrel retains 20% original dark blue finish. The cylinder retains 90% original blue finish with some flaking and numerous minor scratches, with some minor spotting. The frame, trigger guard and loading gate show some of the dull, faded original case colors with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The grips are very fine with 95% original varnish remaining and overall numerous minor dings and dents. The markings are clear. The action is very good.
