Fantastic pre-war Nazi Mauser Luger dated 1939 over the chamber and marked "42" on top of the toggle. The right side of the barrel extension has the double "Eagle/655" proofs next to the "Eagle/swastika" firing proof, with the same firing proof on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. A smaller "eagle/655" is on the upper left rear of the barrel. Standard military style serial numbering with full serial number on main components with the last two digits on the smaller parts with standard safety and extractor markings and standard sights. It is fitted with standard walnut grips that are unnumbered on the back. As noted this Luger is complete with two matching all blued stamped and folded magazines, with the aluminum bases marked as follows; "8599/x/eagle/655" and "8599/x/+/eagle/655" and 8296/t/Eagle 63/+". This pistol is also accompanied by a fantastic, exceptional condition, 1939 date, brown Luger holster marked on the back, "C.WEISS/BRAUNSCHWEIG", "eagle/WaA750" and "1939".

Condition: Excellent, with 95% plus original blue finish, showing minor holster wear and slight thinning of the grip straps. The grips are excellent, with a few small dents and hints of verdigris on the sharp checkering. The holster is excellent, with a few light scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
