Austrian made bolt-action service rifle modeled after the Mauser 71-84, manufactured for the Portugal Military circa 1886. Features a blued finish, 32.25" barrel, dovetailed inverted 'v' front sight, flip-up ladder style rear sight, bayonet with scabbard, full-length tube magazine with cut off on the right side of the receiver, cleaning rod, three barrel bands, polished bolt with straight handle & manual safety, smooth trigger, sling swivels and smooth full length straight grip wood stock with metal buttplate. Serial numbers match on the receiver and barrel. The majority of the metal surfaces bear a mottled finish of bluing and brown patina. Action is smooth, the bore appears dim but very good and the wood stocks are good+ with a crack to the left of the receiver.
