Manufactured from 1903 to 1916. Replacement heavy barrel made without front sight provisions and equipped with a 10 power Lyman Junior Targetspot scope with adjustable rings and leather lens covers (the recoil spring is absent). Double set triggers, upper tang is drilled for sight mounting, and smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with crescent buttplate.

Condition: Very fine. The barrel retains 75% original blue finish with some muzzle wear and areas of smooth plum patina forming. The action retain 80% of the faded original case colors and the lever has a smooth gray patina. The buttplate shows 98% original bright case colors. The fine wood is revarnished with almost all of the varnish remaining and showing a few scattered minor dents and dings. The markings remain clear and crisp. The action is fine. The scope is very good with clear optics. There is some oxidation on the optic end.
