Stevens New Model Pocket Rifle in .22 caliber rimfire with 8” barrel, cut for shoulder stock, serial number 17503 made 1897-1898. The barrel shows 20% to 30% original blue that is evenly drifting intoning with some scattered light to moderate erosion and pitting but the barrel address is good. The rear sight is a handmade old replacement that has been put into the rear dovetail where it was enlarged. The frame shows traces of nickel drifted to brown patina with some erosion and pitting. The grips are fair to good with even wear. The bore is rough and the action locks tight. Est.: $125-$250
