Stevens Hunters Pet Pocket rifle with large frame in .22 caliber rimfire showing 18” half round- half octagon barrel ,serial number 4043 in good to very good condition with matching original shoulder stock. The barrelretains 75% to 85% original blue and shows marking on left side of breech .22 short or long rifle. The barrel retains original front and rear target type sights. The frame shows traces of original nickel drifting to anatural gray to brown patina. The varnished wood stocks are very good plus with only a couple of minor scratches, minor marks and normal wear. The stocks retain 85% plus original varnish. The removable stock shows80% to 90% original nickel which is unpolished and toned nicely. The hammer shows bright fire type blue. The markings are sharp, the edges of fairly crisp and the bore is at least good and may clean as it isdirty. Est.: $500-$1,000.
