Thomas (Tommy) Singer (born 1940 - May 31, 2014)
He is one of the most regarded silversmiths in Navajo history having created the ‘CHIP INLAY’ an intricate use of turquoise and coral chips integrated in to the silver work. This method made Mr. Singer famous world around in the 60’s. He is known for his overlay work, storyteller pieces, rug patterns and traditional motifs.
Sterling marquise shaped belt piece with round center turquoise stone on black leather. This belt features 10 marquise shaped sterling pieces plus the buckle for a total of 11 pieces. Each piece weighs approximately 11.6 g for a total weight of 127+ g, each piece measures 61.5 mm x 20.5 mm and the turquoise center stone is roughly 7.7 mm in diameter. The belt leather and all weighs 154.2 g and the belt width 14.4 mm. SIZE 30.5 inches - 32.5 inches with room to go to 34 inches.
