Starr double action .44 caliber percussion Civil War issued and martially marked revolver in good condition, serial number 21089. The metal surfaces show a gray to brown patina finish with traces of blue in protected areas. The metal surfaces showsome light to moderate scattered surface pitting and erosion. The markings are good on both sides of the frame and the edges and the action works well. The grips are good with a few dings, mars and scratches but uncommonly good bottom edge with no large losses and light but visible cartouches on both sides of the grips. The collection of William A.
