Star Trek IV Delegate Pin
Star Trek IV Delegate Pin - Perhaps the ultimate in Star Trek features is "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" (1986), in which writer's Leonard Nimoy, Harve Bennett and Nicholas Meyer foresee the horrors of Global Warming. And so does the 23rd century crew of the Enterprise, who travel back in time to 1986 to save the planet Earth (and the whales!). Depending a great deal on humor, what with having futuristic strangers in a very strange land (not only in the past, but in San Francisco!), it is also the funniest of the Star Trek adventures, and contains one of the great lines ever when Capt. Kirk (William Shatner) lands his craft in the park, and as the crew come down the gangplank shouts out: "Don't forget where we parked!" This is a screen worn delegate pin which was custom made for filming and was worn by one of the many delegates in the film, one of which was producer-writer Harve Bennett's wife Carol, a die-hard Trekkies, who fulfilled a literal life-long dream of actually being in a "Star Trek"! The metal two-piece pin features the United Federation of Planets logo on the upper portion with a lower hanging charm of the galaxies. A magnificent piece of Star Trek memorabilia from the most beloved in the series of films! Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Screen Used. Metal pin is approx 5"long.
