Star .44 caliber double action percussion revolver, Civil War era, brown patina finish, wood grips, serial #892. The revolver remains in fair to good original condition, some scattered light to moderate erosion and surface pitting, good markings, grips good with some wear at the edges, no evidence of cartouche, some nicks, mars, and normal aging, and an inverted cross in right grip for identification.
