Springfield model 1903A4 sniper rifle by Remington, serial #3426057 with offset serial number for scope and milled bolt handle for scope clearance. Barrel dated 9/43 and Remington marked. Made without front sight.Correct Redfield type mount with M73B1 scope. Refer: The Springfield Rifles by Brophy, pages 187-190. The rifle shows C-type stock with oil finish, stock is cartouched “FJA” and “RA” above trigger with ordinance wheel.The rifle is in near fine condition with most of its arsenal parkerized finish. 90% plus blue on bolt bands, stock near excellent with a couple of minor storage marks and bruises, crisp ultra-sharp cartouches, showing justslight handling and minimal use. The action is tight, bore excellent, optics clear. A 9.6-9.8 on 1-10 scale. Shows fabric sling, probably from Thompson. Est: $2,000 - $4,000
