Springfield model 1816 type-3, .69 caliber flintlock musket, dated 1831, in good to very good condition with bayonet, rammer, and sling. The musket shows a light grey patina finish with some scattered light to moderatepitting and erosion, good markings, cartouches mostly visible on stock. Stock shows dings, mars, scratches, consistent with military use, but generally good to very good overall. Correct military sling in goodcondition. Bayonet retains a leather scabbard in good condition with hangar or frog. A complete and authentic 1816 in original flintlock with nice accessories. Est: $1,750 - $3,500
