Produced in Geneseo, Illinois. Standard blade and adjustable rear Lufkin peep sights and equipped with a Tasco Pro Point red dot sight mounted on a Springfield Armory scope/accessory rail. The back of the receiver is marked "U.S. RIFLE M1A/SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY circled "T"/106636"."SPRINGFIELD INC. GENESEO IL" marked barrel. Flash hider, magazine absent, bright stainless steel barrel. New commercial, heavyweight, walnut stock with a fiberglass handguard and flip-up buttplate compartment containing a cleaning kit.

Condition: Excellent. Retaining 99% plus original parkerized finish. The side of the mount shows a few minor scuffs and scratches. The stock is also excellent with the exception of three holes and a cutout on the front underside of the stock where a bipod was at one time, with a few minor handling marks. The red dot sight is excellent and functions properly. Mechanically excellent.
