Manufactured September 1922. This rifle was sold through the NRA and has a fixed front sight with clip on hood, barrel marked "S A/flaming bomb/9-22" and two scope blocks mounted to the barrel just behind the barrel band and over the chamber area with a Winchester A5 scope mounted. The bolt has a "W", an "L" and a "3" stamped on the top flat of the bolt base. Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip stock with sling swivels and a checkered steel cupped buttplate. It retains the correct original Model 1922 Pattern long magazine

Condition: Excellent, 95% original blue finish with some scattered minor scratches on the barreled action, some scratches and browning of the floor plate and some flaking/wear on the buttplate. The stock is also excellent with a couple small gouges and some scratches. Mechanically excellent. The scope is fair with some wear and slightly hazy optics.
